Five minutes, once

Never used Tampermonkey? That's fine: every click is below. When you're done, FutHooks updates itself. You'll never need to do this again on this browser.

What Tampermonkey is

A free and widely used browser extension that runs small add-ons like FutHooks. You get it from your browser's own official store.

Where FutHooks runs

Only on the Ultimate Team Web App and on our sign-in page. It can't see any other website you visit.

What it never sees

Your game password, your Google password, or any payment details. Your club and coins stay in your browser.

Undo any time

Switch FutHooks off or delete it in Tampermonkey with one click. Nothing else in your browser or your club changes.

Which browser are you using? The steps adjust.

Safari, phones and tablets aren't supported.

1Add Tampermonkey

  1. Open Tampermonkey in your browser's store: Chrome Web Store. Microsoft Edge Add-ons. Firefox Add-ons.
  2. Press Add to ChromeGetAdd to Firefox, then Add extension (Firefox: Add) in the box that pops up.
  3. Optional but handy: click the puzzle-piece icon next to the address bar and pin Tampermonkey, so its icon is always visible.
About the permission it asks for. Your browser will say Tampermonkey can "read and change data on websites". Every extension of this kind asks for that, because it can't know in advance which sites your add-ons will need. FutHooks itself only runs on the two pages listed in step 3, and Tampermonkey shows you that list before you install.

2Allow user scripts

  1. Copy this into your address bar and press Enter: chrome://extensions
  2. Find Tampermonkey and press Details.
  3. Turn on Allow User Scripts.
Why this switch exists. Your browser now asks you to confirm before any extension runs add-ons that you install yourself. It's a safety switch for Tampermonkey only and changes nothing else.
Don't see Allow User Scripts? Your browser is a bit older: turn on Developer mode at the top right of the Extensions page instead. Same effect.

3Install FutHooks

  1. Press Install FutHooks
  2. Tampermonkey opens a tab showing FutHooks, its version and the sites it runs on. Press Install.
What you'll see listed. FutHooks runs on the Ultimate Team Web App (www.ea.com … /ultimate-team/web-app) and on our sign-in page (futhooks.com/connect). Nowhere else.
Nothing happened, or you see a page of code? Some setups don't catch the link. Do it by hand instead: click the Tampermonkey icon → Dashboard → Utilities tab → Install from URL, paste this address, press Install: https://futhooks.com/futhooks.user.js

4Sign in with Google

  1. Open futhooks.com/connect and press Continue with Google.
  2. Pick your Google account. You'll see You're in.
What Google shares with us. Your name and email address, nothing else. We never see your Google password. It's how we give you access and send you updates. Privacy notice

You can also skip this: the first time you open the Web App, FutHooks shows a small card with the same button.

5Open the Web App

  1. Open the Ultimate Team Web App and sign in to your game account as usual.
  2. A small note shows FutHooks — waiting for FC… while the game loads, then FutHooks ready.
  3. Open the FutHooks tab in the Web App's menu. That's it.
From now on. Every time you open the Web App, FutHooks checks for a new version and loads it. There's nothing to update by hand.

?If something's off

There's no FutHooks tab

Reload the Web App once it has finished loading. Then click the Tampermonkey icon: FutHooks should be listed and switched on. If step 2 applies to your browser, check Allow User Scripts is still on.

A card says "Welcome to FutHooks"

You're not signed in on this browser yet. Press Continue with Google on the card and pick your account.

A card says my access is paused

FutHooks is switched off for your account for now. Everything else in the Web App works as normal. Talk to us if you think it's a mistake.

I have more than one FutHooks

Keep only the one called FutHooks. Switch the others off in the Tampermonkey Dashboard, or delete them.

How do I remove FutHooks?

Tampermonkey icon → Dashboard → the bin icon next to FutHooks. To remove Tampermonkey too, remove it like any extension.
